Lois is the club photographer for the Bluewater Pond Club. She started out 6 years ago with the small pond you see in the pictures and then it grew and grew. She prides herself on the fact that most of her materials were free. The liner came from her brother's pool and the rock was hauled in from farmer's fields therefore freeing up money for pumps and fish. The small pond is 4 feet round and 3 feet deep connected to a 15 foot stream emptying into the large pond that is 13 feet round and again 3 feet deep. There are mostly orandas and pearlscale and black moors in her pond but the odd koi has snuck his way into the mix. She has been keeping fish for at least 15 years but along with the fish she keeps birds also so to free up space in the house the obvious choice was ponds. Most days and nights you can find her sitting in the gazebo enjoying the sound of the falls and the sight of the fish and always with one of her bird friends to share the enjoyment.
