Bob Slack's Pond

Bob built his first pond about eight years ago.  His brother in law and he dug the rear circle one afternoon.  He looked at it and immediately thought bigger.  The next day they added the front circle.  He lined the pond with roofing material.  The only problem with that is that you must not have a seam in the liner.  The material that is used to fasten seams is poisonous to the fish.

Over the years, Bob has added water lilies and many other plants.  He has been bothered by a heron in the fall so his fish are not large.  Then in spring he saw a king fisher for the first time.  He also has several preformed ponds and will add pictures of them later this summer.
